Trusted care for every harvest
A successful hunt deserves careful processing. Wilson's is built around cleanliness, accountability and treating every deer as if it were going into our own family's freezer.
100% your deer. Guaranteed.
We run a strict custom operation. Unlike high-volume processors that may combine batches, the deer you bring to our facility is the exact meat you take home.
Smoked and specialty products may require additional time, especially during peak season.

What hunters ask before drop-off
How long does deer processing take?
Standard processing is typically completed and ready for pickup within 7 days. Specialty products such as jerky, snack sticks or smoked sausage may occasionally take longer during peak season.
Will I receive my own deer back?
Yes. Wilson's runs a strict custom operation. The deer you bring in is the meat you receive back; it is not mixed into a large combined batch.
Do you vacuum seal the meat?
Yes. Professional vacuum-seal freezer packaging is available to protect freshness, simplify storage and extend freezer life.
What should I do during warm weather?
Field dress the deer promptly and cool the body cavity as quickly as possible. Ice can help protect meat quality during early-season transport. Call the shop if you are unsure whether the deer can be accepted.
What information is required at drop-off?
All deer must be legally reported and accompanied by the required North Carolina harvest authorization information before Wilson's can accept the animal.
What are the drop-off hours?
Drop-off is available from 8:00 AM to 9:00 PM, seven days a week during the operating season. Calling or texting before arrival is recommended.
